Job Description: Are you a hardworking individual with a passion for maintaining golf course equipment? Aberdeen Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Mechanic to manage our golf cart fleet and course equipment. While experience in the golf business is helpful, it is not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf carts, mowers, and other course equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and order replacements as needed
- Collaborate with groundskeeping staff to ensure equipment is ready for daily use
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in the golf industry is a plus but not required
